James has spent 14 years working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is because he believes that everyone deserves a functional life and the ability to experience all that this world has to offer. James’ passion for this work has allowed him to implement ABA services in various settings. He began his career working in group homes for over 6 years. He also spent 4 years teaching special education classes with an emphasis on social and behavioral skills and became a behavior specialist/BCBA for a large school district.
This was followed by working for a local IDD authority in group homes, day habilitation centers, private homes, and nursing facilities. James has experience working as a therapist and a behavior analyst in clinics and in homes. He knows that the work he has devoted his life to matters because he has seen the transformation in the lives of the individuals he has worked with, as well as their families.
James is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst in the state of Utah. He holds a Master’s degree in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Texas Tech University.
